Rooh-e-Majrooh, Delhi 7^th December, 2025

This was the inaugural show of Ibaadat, staged on 12^th November, 2011 in Delhi. The show was then taken to Mumbai, Kolkata, Dubai, Jaipur and Ludhiana, and repeated in Delhi and Mumbai. This show was staged again in Delhi at the invitation of Rekhta Foundation during Jashn-e-Rekhta. The show was scripted in the same unique conversational style, with updations. In this musical drama, 13 of his most poetic film songs were rendered by 5 consummate singers and 2 child artistes while another 49 mukhdas/antaras were sung in tarannum. In addition, 27 of his ghazals and shers were also recited. The event received an overwhelming appreciation. Saba Sultanpuri, daughter of Majrooh Sultanpuri and Raju Naushad, son of Naushad, the music maestro were part of the drama. The event received phenomenal appreciation.
